There are plenty of opportunities to be physically active in Launceston, check out our events calendar to see how you can get involved. Please note: This is just a guide. Ensure you contact the event organiser to confirm details and make bookings where required.
If your group or organisation has an event or program coming up we want to know about it. From gym classes, to scout groups, to dance classes, to pram walks and fun runs. You can add your football, hockey or basketball roster or your schedule for group personal training. If it’s active, we want to promote your activity, and it is all FREE!
4 Easy steps to entering your events.
Step 1. Join up to the Active Launceston website
Step 2. Navigate to the "Groups" tab in the menu at the top of the page
Step 3. Select the "Create your own group now" button on the right and follow the wizard to create a group
Step 4. On your new group page locate your groups calendar and enter an event by double clicking your events time slot and entering your events details (you have to be a group owner to enter events)
Note: If you marked the event as public it will appear in the calendar below for everyone to see
